With or without water running through them Rock Gardens can add so much to a garden. They add height and interest. They allow you to grow plants that you wouldn't grow anywhere else. You can even plant them with small shrubs and perennials as well as alpines...and they add an extra touch of the "naturalistic". Not easy to get right... just look back at "HOW NOT TO". But if you follow my DO-IT-YOURSELF information you will be better prepared to decide if one would fit in your garden.

Even if it's only a little bench I always try to include an area to sit next to the water, you can enjoy it so much more. My Step-by-Step photograghs and Design knowledge will give you all the information you need to... Do-it-Yourself.
And provided the Water Garden is well designed and constructed biting insects will not be attracted to your Water Garden. Don't you just want to go and relax on those chairs!
